Self-Discovery Is A Prerequisite To Achieving Wisdom

The title of this blog post is misleading. It is not always  that you must discover within to achieve some level of wisdom. Moreover, this is the traditional route of consciousness achieved and found to be the most prescient.

I went on a trip recently and I had an epiphany upon returning from my trip. The epiphany is that I realized that I perform best when things are uncertain, unclear and not exactly well defined.

Upon this realization, I looked back at my past few trips and started to see a pattern. I noticed that I thrive in the realm of the unknown, the uncertainties on the journey of discovery.

Most of the time, in life, you will not know exactly where you're going or what your real purpose is or who you might meet. However, you must come to the notion that in order to achieve wisdom, you must first be open to self discovery.
