Micro Content And Birth Of The #Transmedia Era

You might think the little guy doesn't have a chance but in today's ever changing world, being quick and nimble is critical to your success.
Attention spans are short and learning curves are shorter. Its not that you have to know everything, its knowing how to get the answers.

With all this stuff to learn and time being a premium, "micro content" is on the rise. You ask, "what is micro content? That depends on the context of use and platform. Let's just say that "micro content" is a concise group of words that can be skimmed to get an idea of the content or it can be media embedded within an application to convey branded content.

As technology platforms (TV, mobile devices and social media) evolve, so do peoples' expectation around everyday content experiences. This is where transmedia take center stage. Transmedia involves immersive experiences across multiple media platforms and micro content will play a critical role in its development.

Andy Warhol said, "In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes". The future is now and understanding how content creation works is critical to owning your 15 minutes of fame.
