This is also the reason why so many new businesses/ideas have a difficult time getting off the ground because more established products or services have put in the time and money for your valuable [but brief] attention spans.
Advertising, marketing, branding are easily intertwined and often confused but the more you understand how these disciplines are similar but different the easier it will be for you to maximize your advertising efforts regardless of what you're trying to sell.
