You've come a long way baby, to get where you got today". Today's question is, "how far have women actually gotten in the workplace, in government or media and entertainment"?
Sadly, not very far but that doesn't mean that progress is at a standstill. It just means that the leaps and bounds of the past have been usurped by minuscule baby steps.
Nelson Mandela recently passed away and there are some who remember his struggle like it was yesterday but the majority look at his passing as a footnote in history. Does this mean that apartheid will rise again and South Africans have no hope for equality in the future [I think not]?
