Ask most people what "Ubuntu" is and they'd say it sounds like something African. With that being said, they'd be only half right but what does Ubuntu mean?
Ubuntu is actually an African philosophy encouraging a spirit of cooperation and the literal meaning is humanity to others. Not a bad marketing concept if you want to enter into the mobile market where the other players are battling for mobile market supremacy.
In this case, Ubuntu is a flavor of Linux that's trying to make its way into your hands in 2013 and from the looks of things, Android might have some serious competition.
